Despite its rather ugly appearance and the fact that it has had many head on collisions and accidents on it since its opening in 1978, very little has been done to improve this junction.
With the majority of people that enter Chelmsford coming through this junction and many people asking for the flyover to be replaced with a more appropriate means of two way travel surely this would be an ideal place of interest. Especially as it is no doubt the first impression most people would have of Chelmsford.
